In honor of National Poetry Month and National Library Week, Bronzeville Center for the Arts was delighted to welcome Michelle Boone and members of the Poetry Foundation Board of Directors to the neighborhood — and to experience the extraordinary artistry of Milwaukee Public Library Poet Laureate Shelly Conley.

We are deeply grateful to Shelly for sharing her powerful words and for all that she does as an author, storyteller, community builder, and cultural Ambassador for Milwaukee.
